Dr. Max’s is a physician-formulated personal care line created by Los Angeles-based Dr. Max Goldstein. Rooted in science, the brand blends clinically-backed botanical ingredients—many of them grown in Dr. Max’s own garden—to offer accessible, effective care for all ages. The brand reimagines the family doctor's apothecary pharmacy with a fresh, down-to-earth approach to wellness.

I worked with them to design a custom display typeface full of warmth and character to reflect the brand's unique identity. Drawing on vintage influences, the font is bold and chunky with playful quirks and plenty of personality. With a wide range of stylistic alternates, it flexes easily across brand touchpoints, from packaging and the website to social posts and printed materials, bringing Dr. Max’s world to life with every letter.
